Ayer en el Teatro Municipal los componentes de Lituania abrieron el I Encuentro Europeo de Teatro Amateur con un drama estremecedor  con el título de “Líbido”, escrito por Vidè Bréksta y  dirigido por Jolanta Narbutaitienè. Narra la relación apasionada que mantiene un padre que pierde la cabeza tras la muerte de su esposa y sus dos hijas, en una cadena de situaciones

que desembocan en el descubrimiento del verdadero amor por ellas, mientras el espíritu de la esposa permanece presente. La obra representada en lituano, contó  con dos pantallas donde se iba proyectando el texto en inglés, y donde previamente se habían mostrado unas imágenes artísticas y el mapa de Europa mostrando la situación geográfica  de Lituania. La puesta en escena fue espectacular y sencilla a la vez, jugando con un tendedero que va limitando y creando espacios, en los cuales la luz tiene un papel primordial. Los jóvenes actores hicieron sus papeles a la perfección,  levantando del escaso público asistente una ovación de gala.

 Actividades lúdicas del grupo

Durante todo la mañana de ayer, miércoles 29 de junio, los jóvenes actores que componen esta nueva experiencia teatral, pudieron disfrutar de la playa concretamente estuvieron en la deLa Mata.Yapor la tarde, después de comer, en el aula de pintura del Centro Cultural Virgen del Carmen, se realizó un taller de mímica con los visitantes de Lituania, para posteriormente, recibir la visita de Amapola Prado, presidente de Asila, y de algunos de sus miembros residentes en Torrevieja y de las mismas nacionalidades participantes en este primer encuentro de teatro. A continuación, se dirigieron al hotel para cenar y desplazarse hasta el Teatro Auditorio Municipal, donde los representantes de Lituania, presentaron su proyecto.

Yesterday at the Municipal Theater of Lithuania components opened the First European Meeting of Amateur Theatre with a thrilling drama with the title of “Libido” written for Vydé Bréksta and directed by Jolanta Narbutaitienè.
It tells the passionate relationship that holds a father who loses his head after the death of his wife and two daughters in a chain of events leading to the discovery of true love for them, while the spirit of the wife stays there.
The work represented in Lithuanian, had two projecting screens where the text was in English, which previously had shown some artistic images and the map of Europe showing the geographical situation of Lithuania.
The staging was spectacular and simple at the same time, playing with a clothesline that is limiting and creating space in which light plays a key role. The young actors did their roles to perfection, raising the low audience a standing ovation.

Throughout yesterday morning, Wednesday June 29, the young actors who make up this new theatrical experience, enjoyed the beach were specifically in La Mata. In the afternoon, after lunch in the classroom painting Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre, a workshop in mime with visitors to Lithuania, to later receive visits from Poppy Meadow, president of Asylum, and some of its members residing in Torrevieja and the same nationalities participating in this first meeting of theater. Then went to the hotel for dinner and travel to the Teatro Municipal Auditorium, where representatives ofLithuania, presented their project.
