Torrevieja volverá a convertirse en septiembre en uno de los grandes puntos de encuentro del bowling internacional, con la celebración de un nuevo torneo que reunirá en la ciudad, del 19 al 27 de septiembre de 2026, a numerosos aficionados y a destacados jugadores profesionales procedentes de distintos países. La respuesta de los participantes está siendo especialmente extraordinaria en esta edición, hasta el punto de que ya se están batiendo récords de participación, con un dato que pone de manifiesto la dimensión internacional que ha adquirido esta cita: el 80 % de las inscripciones corresponde a jugadores y jugadoras internacionales.

Durante nueve días, las pistas de la bolera Ozone Torrevieja serán el escenario de una competición que volverá a combinar el carácter deportivo del torneo con el ambiente de convivencia que tradicionalmente acompaña a este encuentro. Jugadores de diferentes nacionalidades llegarán a Torrevieja dispuestos a competir, disfrutar del bowling y vivir una experiencia que ya se ha convertido en una cita destacada dentro del calendario de este deporte.

Una celebración muy especial antes de la gran final

Pero la edición de 2026 contará además con un acontecimiento muy especial. El viernes 25 de septiembre, apenas dos días antes de la gran final, el Club Euro Bowling Torrevieja celebrará su 25º aniversario.

Para conmemorar este importante aniversario, a partir de las 20:00 horas, se celebrará un encuentro festivo con tapas y aperitivos en el Salón Principal del Casino de Torrevieja, en una velada concebida para compartir recuerdos, celebrar la trayectoria del club y reunir a amigos, jugadores y personas vinculadas al mundo de los bolos.

El aforo estará limitado a 120 personas, por lo que próximamente se ofrecerá información más detallada sobre esta celebración.

Torrevieja vuelve a mirar hacia el bowling internacional

La organización ya trabaja también en la promoción del torneo y ha preparado un photocall especial, que estará instalado durante la competición en la bolera Ozone Torrevieja, convirtiéndose en uno de los elementos protagonistas para las fotografías y recuerdos de los participantes.

Además, como anticipo de lo que será esta gran semana deportiva, está prevista una rueda de prensa el próximo 16 de septiembre, también en las instalaciones de Ozone Torrevieja, donde se darán a conocer más detalles de la competición y de todo lo que rodeará a esta nueva edición.

Con unas cifras de participación que ya apuntan a un nuevo récord y con jugadores llegados desde numerosos países, Torrevieja volverá a demostrar su capacidad para acoger grandes acontecimientos deportivos internacionales.

Del 19 al 27 de septiembre, los bolos serán protagonistas en la ciudad. Y este año, además de la competición, habrá un motivo muy especial para celebrar: 25 años de historia del Club Euro Bowling Torrevieja.

Torrevieja will once again become one of the major meeting points for international bowling this September, hosting a new tournament from 19 to 27 September 2026 that will bring together a large number of bowling enthusiasts, along with several professional players from different countries.

The response from competitors has been particularly impressive this year, with participation records already being broken. One figure clearly highlights the international appeal of the event: 80% of all entries have been made by international bowlers, both men and women.

For nine days, Ozone Torrevieja Bowling Centre will provide the setting for a competition that combines the sporting challenge of high-level bowling with the friendly and social atmosphere that has traditionally surrounded this event. Players from different nationalities will travel to Torrevieja not only to compete, but also to enjoy the city, the sport and the unique atmosphere that has made this tournament a well-established fixture on the bowling calendar.

A very special celebration before the grand final

The 2026 edition will also feature a particularly special occasion. On Friday 25 September, just two days before the grand final, Club Euro Bowling Torrevieja will celebrate its 25th anniversary.

To mark this important milestone, a special celebration will take place from 8.00 pm in the Main Hall of the Casino de Torrevieja, featuring tapas and refreshments.

The evening will provide an opportunity to celebrate the club’s history, share memories and bring together players, friends and people who have been part of its journey over the years.

The event will have a maximum capacity of 120 people, with further information about the anniversary celebration to be announced shortly.

Torrevieja gets ready for another international bowling showcase

The organisers are also preparing the promotional side of the tournament, including a special photo backdrop, which will be installed at Ozone Torrevieja Bowling Centre throughout the competition, providing players and visitors with the perfect setting to capture memories of the event.

As a preview of what promises to be an exciting week of competition, a press conference is scheduled for 16 September, also at Ozone Torrevieja. More details about the tournament and the programme surrounding the event will be presented on that occasion.

With participation figures already pointing towards a new record and competitors travelling from countries around the world, Torrevieja is once again demonstrating its ability to host major international sporting events.
