Fiesta Blanca 2026 Brings More Than Five Thousand People to Torrevieja for a Night of Music and Solidarity
The Torrevieja market fairground became the main meeting point for residents and visitors yesterday during the celebration of Fiesta Blanca 2026, an event that once again demonstrated its tremendous power to attract the public, bringing together more than five thousand people for an evening marked by music, community, solidarity and a festive atmosphere.
Organised by the Asociación Benéfica contra el Cáncer Fiesta Blanca Torrevieja, with the collaboration of the Department of International Residents, Coexistence and Integration of Torrevieja Town Council, the celebration once again became one of the largest events on the city’s social calendar. Residents of different nationalities, international residents and visitors shared an evening in which music once again served as a way of bringing cultures and communities together.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, who was accompanied by the Councillor for International Residents, Gitte Lund Thomsen; the Councillor for Social Welfare, Óscar Urtasun; and the head of the Pangea Office, Jean Paul Mulero. All of them wished to show their support through their presence at an event that, year after year, has established itself as one of the city’s major celebrations of community and coexistence.
One of the main stars of the evening was Belgian singer Christoff De Bolle, known professionally as Christoff, who gave a performance that was eagerly awaited by the audience. With more than three decades of professional experience, the artist is one of the best-known figures in Flemish popular music and the schlager genre, and his presence brought an unmistakably international dimension to the evening in Torrevieja.
Christoff has enjoyed a long and successful musical career, with numerous hits in the Flemish charts and several gold and platinum records. His career has also been associated with major recognition from the Belgian music industry and with international projects, including KLUBBB3, the group he formed alongside German singer Florian Silbereisen and Dutch singer Jan Smit. His performance in Torrevieja consequently became one of the highlights of an evening in which the audience responded enthusiastically and joined in throughout his show.
Music and entertainment were, however, only part of a celebration whose main purpose once again centred on solidarity. Fiesta Blanca maintained its commitment to the fight against childhood cancer, with five euros from every ticket being donated to the childhood cancer fund of Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona. Through this contribution, the organisers continued to support research and the care of children affected by the disease, as well as their families.
The international character of Torrevieja was particularly evident throughout the evening. People from different countries came together to enjoy a celebration that perfectly reflects the city’s open and multicultural spirit. Over the years, Fiesta Blanca has become a meeting place where differences in nationality, language and culture take a back seat, giving way to a shared celebration.
The atmosphere began building from the early hours of the afternoon and reached its peak as the night progressed, with the venue completely packed and thousands of people enjoying the various musical and entertainment performances. The public response once again demonstrated how firmly this initiative has become established among the residents of Torrevieja and, particularly, within its large international community.
Beyond the numbers, the 2026 edition once again highlighted the spirit in which Fiesta Blanca was created: bringing people from different backgrounds together around a charitable cause and turning entertainment and music into a means of helping those who need it most. The high attendance recorded last night confirmed that the initiative retains its remarkable ability to bring the people of Torrevieja together.
The organisers wished to thank the institutions, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who attended for their support and for helping to make another edition of this special celebration possible. The event concluded with a highly positive overall assessment, once again consolidating Fiesta Blanca as one of Torrevieja’s major celebrations of solidarity and community spirit.
Finally, the Fiesta Blanca management team expressed its special congratulations to Juan Carlos García, manager of Orecam Imagen y Sonido, for the flawless production of the event and for the work carried out to ensure that the celebration was delivered with the quality, organisation and professionalism that characterised this year’s edition.
